Let’s visit the place, where each inch of earth is soaked with a spirit of heroism. Long time ago there was an ancient russian fortress, destroyed by Mongols (the defenders of the fortress preferred to burn themselves, than to give up to the enemies). Later on there were gathering groups of volunteers for defending their motherland – therefore this town was called Zbarazh (“The Collector of Heroes”). (Ternopil region)

In XVII AD a stone castle appeared there, fortified on European standards of fortification art. Since that, up to XX century it could not be captured by any attacker and up to these days beckons and surprises tourists from over the world.

Coming to the castle, You will get on Zamkova Hora (“Castle Mount”), surrounded by marshes,
moats and bastions. The castle itself, being hospitable, has prepared a lot of surprises for You. Having given You the possibility fully to enjoy the richness of its appearance – it will invite You further to present the exhibition of works of local artists and sculptors, will make You familiar with the history of architecture and ethnography of its native land. Then it will proudly show You the unique museum of weapons, where You can see all the kinds of armament – from a sable to a cannon, to imagine Yourself in a war uniform or a knight’s helmet.

But the main surprise of the castle is still ahead. When You will take a rest in romantic restaurant “The Legend” with refined old interior and tasty meals – an excursion to a huge underground city with a lot of labyrinths, caves and chambers of tortures will wait for you…
