Bribes in a Ukrainian society – is a widespread occurrence, which has its classification, price list and even culture.
Bribes accompany citizens of Ukraine everywhere: from kindergarten and higher educational establishments - to the institutions that govern roads, public authorities and courts. It is difficult to find someone who once in a life has never given a bribe.
We should point out different categories of bribes.
There are bribes which complicate life of citizens, disturb to develop and cause damages to the image of Ukraine. These include distribution of budgetary funds for corresponding "kickbacks" (when 30 to 50 % of the sum of means comes back to the one who has lobbied this decision). It is also purchase of places in lists of political parties during election campaigns. Also these are bribes in law-enforcement sphere, among public prosecutors, policemen, judges (you can look at the informal price list HERE).
There is a category of bribes, which are - the peculiar system of social self-regulation that helps to solve state problems (e.g, when an entrepreneur receives all the needed permissions for opening business in faster terms).
"Bribes for a soul " make up a special category which are urged to correct social injustice in a society. For example, "a bribe" to the doctor for prompt and accurate help: this is just a heartfelt gratitude to the qualified expert, who receives a salary not much bigger, than an aidman).
