It is an industrial and most densely populated region and the country’s, main source of fuel and energy. Eastern Ukraine is associated with mechanical engineering, chemical industry and numerous mines. The region if famous for its versatile tourist opportunities: industrial routes with artificial mountains of refuse dumps, the centre of Cossack culture (Zaporozhskaya Sich), a warm sea coast, lakes, nonfreezing in winter, curative dirty, mineral waters, symphony concerts which take place at depth of 300 metres in a salt mine with pictures and trees, artly cut out at ceiling and arches. This region is a native land of FC Shakhtar, the winner of UEFA Cup 2009. A new stadium with the capacity of 50 thousand spectators is open In Donetsk. The «Donbass Arena» is considered to be one of the best stadiums in Europe. So the region is inspired for new winnings!
