If you want to see a legendary city and a part of the history of Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome
and Byzantine Empire visit Chersonesos (located not far from Sevastopol, Crimea).
Welcome to "Russian Troy", a city that for two thousand years was a center of ancient and Byzantine culture at the border with wide-spread barbaric world.
Today you can see more than a third of the city. This part is a result of excavations that have been lasting here for nearly 200 years. Among unique findings one can see an oath of Chersonesos citizens,
frescoes, mosaics and icons of the Christian churches.
Here you can see performance in an extant ancient theater, a Roman citadel, a famous fog Bell, residential districts, streets, potteries and other household items (local museum reserve keeps more than 200 thousand exhibits).

This place is considered to be “strong energetically” because prince Vladimir was baptized here in 988. This very event initiated the process of turning Christianity into a state religion of Rus. Here
there is St.Vladimir cathedral, the greatest Orthodox temple of Crimea.
If you want to feel the depth of the energy concentration you should visit Parthenon’s Caves, a sanctuary (here you can see mysterious wells and traces), and of course, a place where Prince Vladimir was
baptized.
If one looks into the blue sky of the sea and listen to gentle surf of Chersonesos ruined
marble columns with Greek mosaic will show you an image of the "emerging from the foam” Aphrodite. Locals say that she liked to visit these very places...
