Krasnokutsk

We suggest you visiting one of the most magic and fairy-like places of Kharkiv region, in which there even singing terraces. The world of the extraordinarily beautiful nature of the small town Krasnokut, which is amazingly situated in one-hundred-kilometer distance from Poltava, Sumy and Kharkiv!

Here you can take a walk in one of the oldest dendroparks of Ukraine (which appeared on the territory of the ancient Petropavlovskiy monastery), to which hundreds of species of rare plants were brought by the efforts of the dynasty of the Kazarinovy from Japan, China, America, Canada, France and Germany! Here you can see splendid lianas, shaggy Canadian spruces, aromatic barberries, sophisticated Japanese sophora, cork-tree and Pencil tree, liqueur mountain ash and Chinese ash-tree! You will be able to lean against ginkgo – the happiness tree (this sort was growing on the Earth in the era of dinosaurs)!

There are the cleanest lakes, with plenty of fish, colourful lotuses and a romantic Island of the enamoured (if a couple spends here a night, they will stay together forever)! At the territory of dendropark you can see ancient caves and 18 km of the underground passages, which lead to the monastery, where many icons were preserved.

Only here you will be able to see astonishing “singing terraces”: a picturesque abrupt ravine, on the slopes of which small brick walls are built, protecting plenty of fruit trees from rain and cold. When there is a light wind – you can hear crystal tender music.
Besides it, Krasnokutskiy region invites you to visit its world-known sight of interest – in Parhomovka village there is an art-museum with thousands of the originals of Rerih,
Vrubel, Levitan, Pikasso, Van Dyck, Benua. Gauguin (the only in Ukraine), Manet and thousands of exhibits, which represent the art of Egypt, Japan, China, Ancient Greece, Europe and America!
