Mykolaiv region

It is hard to find more bizarre region in Ukraine then Mykolaiv. Mykolaiv must be one of the weirdest regions to be found in Ukraine.

It astonishes you with natural wonders. In the middle of overcrowded Europe you can see many kilometers of dry land, which have not gone down to the sea for 60 million years (Granite-steppe lands of Buh and Aktove canyon). 

You can visit a place, which had no contact with civilization.
Animals and birds do not afraid of the people and meadows are fool of blossom (Kinburn sand bar).

Later on, you will have a chance to observe a great number of wonders, created by human. You will see an ancient port city, being as old as the pyramids (Savage Garden). Olvia is worth seeing too. This classical Greek city became a founder of national identity. It used to be inhabited by philosophers, scientists and poets. You will acquaint yourself with the technological progress of modern age: process areas and shipbuilding
wonders will for sure take your attention (Mykolaiv).

Occasionally you will get a chance to visit the museum of abandoned war (the Museum of Missile Force is situated on the border between Mykolaiv and Kirovograd regions). Here you will be able to touch the infamous red knob, giving the clear understanding of the fact that sometimes destiny of the whole world occurs in hands of just one person.

Hopefully this will make you think about huge abilities and great dangers, kept inside us. Thus, everything in the world depends on each human being!
