Rivne

You are invited by Rivne (Rivne region), a beautiful, cozy, clean and green city. Welcome to the city that was repeatedly attacked, burnt in fire, possessed by different states (pain about numerous losses was embodied in an energetically strong Monument to the ones who died for Ukraine).

However, despite all challenges, it could rose from ashes thanks to patience and creative energy of local architects who managed to restore the city. That is why this city is filled with a special unity spirit (you can make sure of visiting one of the local churches where two different confessions harmonically coexist and conduct their services by turn).

Come to visit Church of the Assumption where one can see an old bell tower and “chain of moral principles” . That chained was used to shackle unrighteous parishioners for they expiated their sins publicly. Moreover you will visit St.Anthony kostel (currently House of organ music) and Cathedral of Resurrection (used by Soviet authorities as a place for atheism muse)

Do not deprive you of interesting excursions of the Ukrainian Art Museum and a good rest in the Park named after Taras Shevchenko, a place that local citizens like because of concert, sports and children grounds, and a big variety of cozy cafes.

 Moreover a big Zoo and its 700 representatives of fauna is waiting for you (here you can meet not only lions, tigers, bears and monkeys but also unusual representatives of exotarium).

If you come to Rivne with your children they will get unforgettable impressions from going for a ride along Rivne children railroad whose fast train can bring you both to the city center and to the bank of the picturesque lake.

Not far from the city you can see unique fortification
earthworks dated from XIX century. According to scientific researches they were built on the territory of ancient large cities and sacred places. Archeologists state that outskirts of Rivne saw the settlements of primitive people in XIII BC.
