Chersonese
If you want to see the legendary "Russian Troy" which is the part of Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome and Byzantium history – you should necessarily visit Chersonese (located not far from Sevastopol).

Snake Island

You can even find the place where his temple was located. People say that Achilles’ spirit is at the small island now and that the hero lives there as a blessed person with an invisible life.
Dzharylhach Island
If you want to get to the largest desert island of the Central Europe, and feel an incredible legend, visit Dzharylhach Island (Kherson Region). At this island Gerakles raced herds of horses around, while resting between feats.
This is the island, to which Odysseus ships landed after destruction of Troy. With friends he come into the hands of a one-eyed Cyclops-cannibal, and then was saved by a miracle.
