Having come to western Ukraine, you will see landscapes with their forests, lakes and mountains, appreciate curative properties of mud baths, and natural sources of mineralized water. You will see a great number of architectural monuments with ancient castles and fortresses, and will have a variety of possibilities for a good rest: walks and rides, mountaineering, boating and alpine skiing, fishing and hunting etc.
Geographically there is Center of Europe in this part of Ukraine, and it is characterized by absolutely special feeling of spirit of Europe, which has been formed for long-term history, either as an independent or a part of European states. Even at times of USSR it has not been russified. Lviv - is the cultural capital of Ukraine, and the heart of National Patriotic Movement beats here, in this part of the country.
